Having the rewards be items that we grew up with tugs nostalgic heartstrings — and each model is rendered perfectly. The PSP reward is so detailed that it feels like Team Asobi could have placed your old childhood PSP into the game. You can explore all these items in the PlayStation Lago, a hub area of everything you collect. It’s a lot of fun to scale up these objects, and each one has a cool animation. Granted, it’s only a startup noise or something getting popped open. You can tell how much love Team Asobi put into this celebration of PlayStation.

It uses planar magnetic driver tech to deliver higher-quality sound compared to older earbuds. The case also allows you to charge the earbuds, which is what the light bar on the bottom of it is for. The “Slim” model of the PlayStation 5 is 30% smaller than the launch model and replaces the front USB “Standard-A” port with a second “Type-C” port. Perhaps the most significant adjustment is that the Digital Edition could be upgraded with a disc drive, which the launch model was unable to do.
It’s most famous for starring Toro Inoue, also known as the Sony Cat, who wishes to become human. At the end of the short side-path to the Multi-Tap, you’ll spot a Bot with a flashlight stalked by a Bot in a straw hat. This references 2003’s Siren on PS3, developed by SCE Japan Studio. In 2016, Siren was ported to the PlayStation 4 with added Trophy support. During the side-path to the PSone LCD Monitor, you’ll find a Bot in samurai attire next to a tree. This refers to Jin Sakai and the tree in his childhood home, as seen in 2020’s Ghost of Tsushima on PS4, developed by Sucker Punch.
After the level starts, proceed ahead until you reach a wire sticking out from the ground. Proceed ahead and soon you will reach the second wire sticking out from the ground as shown in the second picture below. There you will see another wire sticking out from the ground on the left side as shown in the second picture below. To rescue this special Bot, you must have completed the game and defeated the final boss.

I can’t say I had very high expectations for Astro’s Playroom, a game that comes free with every PlayStation 5 console. I figured it might be a cute series of minigames, akin to the robot-themed minigames in the PlayStation 4’s pack-in title, The Playroom. That PS4 game was the sort of thing you boot up once, mess around with for 30 minutes, and then forget it exists. It’s a phenomenal thing, taken even further with adaptive triggers that provide meaningful, forceful feedback.
Running at a smooth 4K 60fps, Astro’s world may not be massive and require huge draw distances or populate the screen with hundreds of enemies, but it’s certainly pretty. Natural environments come together with PS5 internal parts and other pieces of hardware in a beautiful blend of the environmental with the technological. A grassy plain looks beautiful in 4K, only for the plants to be topped with PlayStation face button symbols rather than flowers.

A revised version of the Processor Unit allowed for HDR passthrough, which was a feature added to all PS4s via firmware. The DualShock 4 marked the first time the PlayStation controller was given a significant aesthetic redesign. The new Share Button, which let you take screenshots and record video, replaced the Select Button, Fortunately, almost all games moved the Select Button function to pressing down on the new touchpad. Vita Game Packs could also be used on the PlayStation TV, which meant it wasn’t a digital-only platform like the PSP Go was.
The other two are much weaker in comparison, considering the frog suit in Cooling Sprints is heavy to use with directional launching and motion controls. Meanwhile, the monkey suit in GPU Jungle is very frustrating to use outside of the cool swinging action due to the weird timing and its usage of the motion controls. For the next part of our Astro’s Playroom guide, we’re going to answer any remaining questions or queries you may have about the game.
Astro’s Playroom is a free platforming game, included as a pack-in with the PS5. It’s inspired by the characters and concepts first introduced in The Playroom and The Playroom VR, which culminated in the full-blown Astro Bot Rescue Mission for PlayStation VR. The game serves as a showcase for the DualSense controller’s features and functionality. We awarded the game a 9/10 in our Astro’s Playroom PS5 review, describing it as a “love letter to PlayStation”. nhà cái gg88 is a 2024 platform game developed by Team Asobi and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment for the PlayStation 5 to coincide with PlayStation’s 30th anniversary.
The SingStar Microphone was the iconic peripheral of the SingStar games, of which there were over 70 different releases (including the same game with different setlists per region). Coming as a pair of one red and one blue microphone, they came bundled with an adapter that both mics plugged into. This was so that they only take up one of the PS2’s USB ports, leaving the remaining port open for the EyeToy camera. The Network Adapter allowed the PlayStation 2 to connect online for multiplayer, sliding into the Expansion Bay. It also had space for a hard drive, which was required for some games, while others could use them for optional DLC or game installation to reduce load times, much like the PS3 would do.
The DualShock 3 was the PS3’s main controller, and the first PlayStation controller to be wireless (well, sort of; see below). It swaped the Analog button for the Home button, and had convex triggers for L2 and R2. Its primary new feature was SIXAXIS motion sensing that let you move and rotate the controller to control the game, a feature still in use today. The PSP Go was the smallest version of the PSP, removing the disc drive and having a screen that slid up to reveal the buttons underneath. Because the UMD drive was removed, the PSP Go could only play digital games, either downloaded from its PSN Store or transferred via a PlayStation 3. It also coudln’t use the Camera, Microphone or GPS peripherals without an adapter.
