Walkthrough Demon’s Souls Guide
The original’s poor four direction rolling system made dodging slot enemy attacks hard. It was one of the things that increased the game’s difficulty in a frustrating way. Thankfully, players can breathe a sigh of relief because omnidirectional rolling is in the remake. What’s clever about this is that Demon’s Souls’ structure makes every playthrough feel different because you’re able to approach each world in new ways. For my first playthrough, I went with a magic-focused build and went to world 3 first so I could stock up on magic-replenishing consumables and unlock the NPC that grants access to the most powerful spells.
The Blue Eye Knight set is a powerful heavy armor that can be found around Boletaria. The armor set provides various protection and resistance buffs to Bleed, Poison, and Plague. Players expend stamina to perform actions such as attacking with weapons, blocking and parrying, dodging, and sprinting. The stamina used up for each attack depends on the type of weapon equipped, with heavier weapons requiring more stamina for each swing. On 11 June 2020, the remake of Demon’s Souls was announced during the PS5 – Future of Gaming Show by Playstation. There’s a lot of rumors going around and people are doing their best to figure out what they can.
Turn around, to see a Boletaria Soldier at the end of a corridor. The Boletaria Soldier will throw a Firebomb blowing everything up in flames, so be patient and wait until this attack. Now head left and go down the stairs, you will see two Dreglings approaching. One of the Dreglings, will probably hit the barrels and burst up in flames, killing himself. Face the other one, try to lure him upstairs, so you can fight without having to worry about falling down while rolling or dodging. Once you get past the dead animal with crows over it, you can see on your left another barricade, that hides two Dreglings.

After you clear the first few areas (the Tutorial and the first part of the Boletarian Palace region), you’ll be able to tackle most other stages in any order you like. I intend to create a Guts build in this game, to compliment the work I did in Dark Souls Remastered. The amazing game that started the Souls series and inspired countless imitators.
Keen observance of each of the bosses’ attack patterns and behavior is the key to defeating them along with analyzing and exploiting their weaknesses. Several gaming news sites have commented that because the Demon’s Souls Remake was released at the Future of Gaming event, it’s a PS5 exclusive. This may be true but before it’s confirmed as fact, more reputable sources are being pursued. You can choose a variety of different classes, but these are only for show really, as the real heart of the game are the various abilities you can upgrade with Souls. In that, even if you start out in one class you can upgrade your character to be whatever you want in terms of its stats.
You simply transform a certain type of weapon using the boss’s soul. Most weapons must also be upgraded to level 6 to be available for transforming with a boss soul, however, some of them do not require improvements (such as the baton). That’s hardly the only way that the power of next-gen gaming improves Demon’s Souls. The PS5’s SSD eliminates Demon’s Souls‘ often crippling load times, which isn’t just a great quality of life improvement but makes soul and resource farming far more efficient.
Used and in fact the spirit in Demon’s Souls is everything and you have to manage it very well and be careful not to lose a lot of them suddenly. Demon’s Souls Remake combat system is at the highest possible level of balance and appeal, and is so well-tuned, tactical, and based on your accuracy and skill that you truly enjoy playing. Also, performing various activities in the game is best set on the Dual Sense controller, and you are completely comfortable with the game control. Demon’s Souls Remake has the same addictive magic as the original title. Also the same high degree of difficulty along with excellent content quality. The game’s creators have updated the smoothness and tactics of the battles in Mr. Miyazaki’s titles in the Demons Souls.
The Chest is located in World 1 – 2, behind where you located Ostrava. The Hands are in 1 – 3, after the gate the Fat Official locks. The Legs are in 1 – 4, behind the area where the Blue Dragon is. These bosses may be the scariest that FromSoftware has ever designed. The player, after arriving in a mysterious sanctuary called the Nexus after death, is bound by fate to defeat the demonic threat and bring The Old One back to its slumber. Compared to the original PS3 version there are now 4 more Rings.
The Gates of Boletaria can be found in the Boletarian Palace. There’s still an annoyingly common tendency to use a shove attack when I don’t mean to, and I wish the developers had done something to better explain World Tendency to newcomers. But those nitpicks notwithstanding, Bluepoint did an excellent job of updating Demon’s Souls to modern standards without changing the core of its gameplay. Venture to the northern kingdom of Boletaria – a once prosperous land of knights, now beset with unspeakable creatures and ravenous demons. Meet strange characters, unhinged and twisted by the world around them, and unravel the unsettling story of Demon’s Souls.

In his quest for power, the 12th King of Boletaria, King Allant channelled the ancient Soul Arts, awakening a demon from the dawn of time itself, The Old One. With the summoning of The Old One, a colourless fog swept across the land, unleashing nightmarish creatures that hungered for human souls. Those whose souls were stripped from them, lost their minds – left only with the desire to attack the sane that remained. Now, Boletaria is cut off from the outside world, and the knights who dare penetrate the deep fog to free the land from its plight, are never seen again. As a lone warrior who has braved the baneful fog, you must face the hardest of challenges to earn the title “Slayer of Demons” and send The Old One back to its slumber.
These are the main currency of the game and are used to buy items, repair equipment and upgrade not only the player but also your weapons too. Like other Piercing weapons, this sword scales with your Dexterity, making it an effective choice for character builds that focus on a weapon’s finesse. In combat, this massive blade feels like an unusual mix of slashing, thrusting, and polearm weapons, so you should make sure to familiarize yourself with its diverse attacks before running headlong into a horde of demons. It’s that gorgeous, modern, big-budget presentation that may cause a sense of friction with players who will experience Demon’s Souls for the first time, or will do so in the context of FromSoftware’s subsequent games. Games like Dark Souls refined the formula established by Demon’s Souls, while Bloodborne and Sekiro streamlined it further. Reverting to the hallowed ground of Demon’s Souls, and its experimental and quirky gameplay rules, may feel at odds with its looks.
Over the past decade (and especially since June), Demon’s Souls players have fantasized about a remake of the game, assembling wishlists of improvements. One highly requested feature that some Demon’s Souls fans were hoping for was a new region to explore. The original game featured five major areas, accessible by five archstones. But there’s a sixth (cracked) archstone in the game’s hub world, the Nexus, which is believed to have led to a canceled portion of the game called the Northern Limit or Land of the Giants. Don’t expect that cutting room floor content to be restored. Killing enemies and demons results in the acquisition of Souls.
Look for a broken beam near the ladder, walk carefully into the gap. You can get further down by carefully dropping to a lower beam; you should line the jump up from the central beam. Walking straight and turning on the narrow beams can be made simpler by using a bow in sniper mode. Most notable, though, is the way the haptics react to you being hit. I need to give a special mention as well to the new ability to send items to your storage box without having to return to the Nexus. And then you’d also have to trek back to the archstone just so you could offload any unnecessary items.
Throughout this guide, we try to help you successfully complete the game and draw your attention to the most important secrets. The material is intended primarily for beginners and intermediate fans of the game, however, old veterans will also find something of interest. Customers have mixed experiences with the game’s functionality, with some reporting it runs well in Performance mode and has no problems, while others mention crashes within 5 minutes. Customers enjoy the gameplay, finding it very rewarding and fun with many challenges for newcomers. This will lead you in front of the big iron gate at the beginning of the level. In case you missed it earlier, head to the west section where you previously obtained the Cling Ring, and you will find two corpses by the unlocked iron gates to loot the following.
But once you awaken in the Nexus and meet your fellow comrades trapped in there with you, you’ll want to head to the leftmost archstone, Boletarian Palace (aka 1-1). Once you defeat the big slimy demon there, Phalanx, you’ll get access to the rest of the archstones. This page of the guide to Demon’s Souls Remake describes what you can do with the boss souls.…
